AI tools are astonishingly powerful. They can read, summarise and connect details in seconds, and remember far more than a person ever could.
But anything you type or upload may leave your hands. It can be stored on someone else's computers, seen by staff reviewing the tool, or even used to train future versions. Once it's out there, you can't fully take it back.
So before you share, ask: would I be comfortable if this ended up somewhere public? If it's personal, financial, medical, or belongs to someone else, pause and strip out the private bits first.
